bersatu games

The Bersatu Games 2007 is here in chrstchurch. For those of you who doesnt know what that is, its an annual sporting event comprising of malaysians from all around new zealand. The Canterbury team is the defending champions and are odds on favourites to grab the overal title again on our home ground.
Today is the first day of sports, im not involved in anything. My sports starts tomorrow, and u can guess it--football~~~ =)

Tomorrow is my last exam!! Finally after weeks of stayin up late studying for stupid subjects, tomorrow i can relax~~ =) get a job and earn some much needed cash!

So now the fact for all arsenal fans is that thierry henry is gone. A record scorer for arsenal with 224 goals? or 244 goals...177 coming in the league, its very sad that henry is leaving. What guts me the most is that he is only leaving for 16 mil, i wud expect someone of his calibre to worth at least 20 million. Even darren bent costs 17 mil, how can u compare with bent? ridiculous. Btw, henry is the only person to score 20+ goals in 5 straight seasons, and his 20 assists in the 04/05 season is a record. Oh well, all the best for barcelona. Its gonna be exciting to watch barcelona now.
P.s. arsenal is signin david trezeguet for 7 mil and anelka for 11 mil. reports also show ryan babel on his way and also sagna, but sagna's move now seems unlikely.

movies

There are quite a few big movies supposedly coming/ came out this year, like spiderman3, shrek 3, pirates of the carribean 3, transformers, oceans 13 and so on. Out came all the big hype over all those movies, and i can say that out of the 5 movies stated, i've watched spiderman, shrek, pirates of the carribean and oceans 13. None of the movies deserves a 13 dollars spent to go to the cinema. It's so so, not very good, but not too bad. The worst one would be spiderman 3. As a matter of fact, bout 1 in 10 movies are worthed paying to go to the cinema for. I'd say Man on Fire would be one goooood movie.
Fortunately for me i'm able to download all the movies in uni and watch it here, without spending a single dollar.

procrastination

Procrastination is like masturbation -- at first you enjoy it, after awhile its like ur screwing yourself! =)

Lucky

So, Real Madrid finallly won a league title in what,3? 4? years? A team who is a self-proclaimed "best club in the world" filled with "galacticos"(which means star players) hasnt been able to win anything for the past 3 or 4 years. I would first of all say that real were lucky to win the league. Barcelona was leading all the way through but self-destructed because of their own ego and overconfidence. Also, real were lucky thru lots and lots of late goals in their remaining games to help them win thru the jaws of defeat.

Death note

I've started watchin a new anime -- death note. Basically its about a notebook called death note. The person holding the book will have the power of killing anyone anywhere anyhow anytime, just as long as he writes it in detail in the book. There are other rules to the note book as well, really enjoying it, coming from someone who doesnt really like animes..so far..bleach is the best~~ BANKAI!! =) Kuchiki Byakuya is the best dont u tink? =)

early day

Its 1030 in the morning, the first time i've woken up so early this month, or a month to be exact. Decided to follow my sister to uni to try do some studying of myself, to catch up with my studies for the finals comin up next week. At the moment, i cant be bothered reading another word from the textbook. It's freezing cold here, everyday its below 10..around the 5 degrees mark. At night it's usually below 5...farking cold id say. Having football trainin tonight, conditions as i said, below 5 degrees. Stupid idea to have a football training at night, in the summer it's fine, in the winter..its a no no.
p.s. 1st big match on epl season, liverpool vs chelsea!! i think its on august 18th~~ You'll Never Walk Alone..

Sorry for the delay in updates. Been a pretty busy week so far for me, not being be able to come online for 10 mins or more a day. Hm...basically ntg much happened, played a soccer game, went out with jeni for some quality time together~~=) that's basically it i guess, now its back to studying as the finals are looming...
p.s. Future doesnt look as bright now for barcelona and arsenal compared to last year or beginnin of the year...o well..life goes on..i say..sell henry, and get eto'o!!

There were three tomatoes walking down the street one day. Papa tomato, Mama tomato, and Baby tomato. Baby tomato was lagging behind, Papa tomato got really pissed off and went to Baby tomato and squished him, saying "KETCHUP!"

Just had a business law test just now, dare to say i studied damn damn hard for it. My brain literally felt like exploding. Now that it's finally over with, im so much more relaxed, although there are more mid year exams coming up. Think i did pretty well in it..=)
Anyway, have something to look forward to this coming friday! be it a short time, but better than nothing eh!! =)

Great Ocean Road

I went to the Great Ocean Road just last sunday, to check out a world famous must-see scenery, which is this picture on the left, the Twelve Apostles - twelve huge rocks standing in the sea..but only nine left today..




This picture on the right is somewhere called Loch Ard Gorge, where a shipwreck happened here in 1878. A story was told, that this 18 year old Eva Carmichael clung to some wreckage from the ship, and was alone when she finally came near the shore. Drifting through huge twin cliffs, she found herself in a small bay, but she was too exhausted to make it to shore herself, and was ready to collapse.
Luckily for her, Tom Pearce, also 18, was on the shore already. Exhausted himself, he swam out to rescue her, and brought her safely back to land.
Then Tom climbed the cliffs to search for help, not seeing the steps that were already cut into the cliff face. In time, he found people to help them, and Eva could begin to recover from her shocking ordeal.
People all through the colony saw the situation as romantic. They wanted Tom and Eva to fall in love and be married, saying that God had brought them together for a reason.
Tom and Eva, however, did not feel the same way, and after three months, Eva went back to Ireland, to be with the rest of her family. In 1884, Tom married another woman, related to a man who died in the shipwreck, and started a family.
